Q. My system is under warranty, will you come to my house and fix it?
A. If you have an on-site warranty yes. If not you can still to bring your system in to be repaired.
Q. Do you ship internationally? A. Not at this time.
Q. Do you accept Phone orders?
A. Yes. Actually, this is our preferred method of online order processing. Give us a call so we can process your order with a live person.
Q. Will Windows 7 work on my computer?
A. If your system is under 2 years old, most likely Yes. Microsoft has a compatibility test you can use at Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor
Q. Is there a fee for returns?
A. New unopened items can be returned with a 15% restocking fee within 15 days. No returns after 15 days unless defective. See our official policies here.
Q. Who pays for return shipping? A. Customer pays for return shipping.
Q. How far you do you deliver? A. We will do a local delivery anywhere within the I275 loop and generally 5 miles beyond.
Q. How much is shipping?
A. Shipping depends on location, size of package, and weight. For reference, a 22″ LCD monitor going to California is about $35.
Q. Are there any guarantees on virus and spyware repairs?
A. We provide a 5 day warranty on our full virus & spyware clean. Within that 5 days we can attempt another cleaning or you can have your system re-installed for free if there are any other problems. See our official policies here.
Q. I can’t install a service pack, what’s wrong?
A. This can be a number of things. You could have a pirated version of Windows, have a damaged registry, a virus infection or a software conflict.. Follow this link for more info.
Q. You re-installed windows, where are my old icons?
A. Most of the programs we actually use are not a part of Windows. Those additional software programs will have to be manually installed with the install CD you received with you purchased your computer or software.
Q. My data backup is on a DVD, but my computer only has a CD drive. A. It is probably easier for you to upgrade to a DVD drive for your desktop. Many new programs come on DVD, and this cost less than putting your backup onto many-many cd’s.
Q. Where is my Windows Key. A. It should be attached to your computer, or on the packaging you received when you bought it.
Q. My Windows key is faded and I cannot read it. A. You can try to call your computer manufacturer. Ive seem them help a few times. Usually, this means you have to re-purchase Windows.
Q. I lost my software license, can i get another? A. In most cases you will have to purchase another license.
Q. I purchased a used computer with no software licenses. I need to re-install, how do i get my license keys. A. You probably cant. The software was installed already and the original owner may have lost the licenses. To get new licenses you usually have to purchase them.
Q. Can someone come to my house today and fix my computer. A. Sometimes yes, usually no. It all depends on availability. We can usually get people scheduled the very next day, but same day service is usually unavailable.
Q. I purchased something and now i want to bring it back. What do I do. A. See our official policies here.
Q. What does my extended warranty cover. A. It usually provides the same coverage as the original warranty just for a longer period. Check your warranty paperwork for more info.
