How does this service work?
We install software on your server or primary computer. We set the system to do daily backups of any data that’s important to your business. We provide a full set of options including daily or weekly backups. If a problem arises, you contact us and we get started on a plan to get your business data back in place, and ready for the next business day.
Your data is secure.
All data is transferred using 128-bit encryption and stored in world-class data centers, using 256 bit AES encryption. Your files and folders are then periodically backed up to local RAID devices for quick recovery. (Raid is multiple hard drives for data redundancy)
Your data is password protected by you. You set the encryption key. We can see your data, (for monitoring purposes) but cannot access it.
The backup servers are continuously monitored for any network attacks on a 24 x 7 basis using sophisticated software tools. Your data is stored in data centers that are SAS 70 compliant. Our data centers use HVAC temperature control systems with separate cooling zones provided for the servers.
Which operating system does this support?
CPC remote backup supports Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, Windows Server 2000, Windows Server 2003, and Windows Server 2008. Both 32 and 64 bit versions of all.
How many computers can I backup?
You can install the backup software on as many computers as you like. You can share storage, or setup separate accounts for different sets of computers.
How will I know everything is working properly?
You get weekly emails with a report on number of files backed up, and the condition of the files. You can view a sample report from an actual client here.
How much does it cost?
You can have the power of off-site data protection for less than you might think. We have a 4 tier plan based on data usage.
For data requirements less than 60GB;
- 10GB = $180 / Year
- 20GB = $204 / Year
- 30GB = $228 / Year
- 40GB = $252 / Year
- 50GB = $264 / Year
For data requirements between 60 – 100GB, just .5 / GB
- 75GB = $37.50 Monthly
- 85GB = $42.50 Monthly
For data requirements between 100 – 1000GB, just .4 / GB
- 200GB = $80.00 Monthly
- 500GB = $200 Monthly
For data requirements over 1TB, just .3 / GB
- 1500GB = $450 Monthly
- 5500GB = $1650 Monthly
Each of our backup plans include:
- Exchange Server Backup and MS SQL Server Backup (Available on Windows Server operating systems)
- 4 incremental snapshots
- Weekly reporting with usage and backup status
